I am beginning to think that being part of the New Zealand Department of Immigration is synonyms with being a total heartless prick. I have highlighted two previous cases of exactly this indifference to the reality of the actual human situation on the ground. However today presumably in an effort to show how even handed the bastards are thy have decided to boot out an " overstaying English woman  " presumably to prove they are not racists. From today's New Zealand Herald we have a further example of Immigrations total fucking stupidity.

An Englishwoman whose family has permanent residence faces deportation because her natural father - whom she has never met - did not sign forms for her residency.

Charlaine Hodgson, a 26-year-old former bar manager in Hamilton, was arrested in May while making a police report about a fight and was detained in custody for about two weeks.

Immigration New Zealand said she had been here unlawfully since 2001 and issued a deportation order.

However, she moved to New Zealand aged 13 with her two half-siblings and mother Sandra in 1998 after her mother married Simon Woodward, who is a New Zealand citizen.

Now this should have been sorted out by her mother and step father when she was 13 but it wasn't and while we are at it, fucked if I can see any reason to assist the NZ police as she was. If I was a police officer and one of my co-workers had done this well I would be thinking about handing in my badge.

" All obtained New Zealand permanent residence except Miss Hodgson, because they could not produce a letter of consent from her biological father - who never married her mother and whom she has never met - allowing her to live in New Zealand.

The matter will be heard in the High Court at Auckland on Friday.

Immigration NZ said Ms Hodgson's rights of appeal had been exhausted. "

I don't bloody care about stupid fucking court cases, all fucking appeals exhausted, it should never have fucking got to this situation, this woman is one of us now.

Meanwhile, Miss Hodgson's lawyer, Evgeny Orlov, has lodged a request for special direction from the Immigration Minister to allow her to continue living with her family here.

"This is the only country she knows. She grew up here. She is in fact a Kiwi. It now appears that our own Government is deporting Kiwis from New Zealand," Mr Orlov wrote.

"She came here with her family. She was a child and she had absolutely no fault in relation to what has occurred.

"The only reason she was not given residence was because her biological father, whom she did not know and whom she had never met and who had not even commenced a relationship with her or her mother, except having conceived her, could not be located to give his consent."

See my point ? In short Mum had root and got pregnant and decided to keep her daughter, Mum then met a bloke who was a Kiwi and all up stakes and moved to NZ her daughter being the the eldest child in a new family.

" An Immigration spokesman said the review of Miss Hodgson's appeal will be carried out by Associate Immigration Minister Kate Wilkinson. "


Oh fuck this makes me angry. Last time Wilkinson  opened her mouth in a situation like this she proved what a heartless bitch she is, above I suggested that our sister Charlaine was an effort to prove by Immigration NZ that race was not an issue, actually it is an issue. If we allow Charlaine to remain then we might have set a precedent that means we have to let our non white, possibly criminal probably non tax paying residents stay. This post is not about looking into that despicable aspect to our society and its attitudes. It is about a woman I have never met, but is a Kiwi and part of the New Zealand family.
