Rwanda: " Whatever happened to wicked wiles, permissive styles..."

Virunga Mountain blogs

Paul Kagame's Wife to Become Rwanda Next President

The one thing that is killing politics around the world, is the disease of politicians parachuting their wives, children and relatives to the presidency. The concept of power belonging to the people, has now been turned into Power belongs to the family. The blatant disregard of the voice of the people and power hungry criminals imposing themselves on them, has never improved society, but impoverished it further. Yes, it’s understandable when a political system is based on constitutional monarchism, then the people can fully bless that transition of power as being part and parcel of their heritage.

The Virunga Mountain blog is hilarious and I am frequently caught up with the question is this guy for real or is this just a huge piss take. Jeannett Kagame would seem to me to be an unlikely solution to the very real problem Kagame has created for himself by imposing a two term rule. I expected Kagame to use an African adaption of the Putin / Medvedev model.

" Kagame has become delusional, his inability separate his administration from the the nation state that is Rwanda. He assures all that he will not alter the constitution to extend his tenure as Rwanda's President but the reality is that he has created a situation where he will be forced to remain in office. Expect an African version of the Putin / Medvedev  tandemocracy . There is very little available in the way of attractive retirement options available for autocratic dictators after they lose power. Ask Gaddafi."

However, when a hardcore cold blooded criminal like Paul Kagame, decides to take Banyarwanda for fools by passing the baton of power to his wife, which she already has, then it becomes our birth right to resist that project.
The one thing we can read into this, is the intentional design to turn Rwanda Republic into a Mafioso monarchy-this will shield Criminal Paul Kagame from prosecution for crimes against humanity and state terrorism.
The way dictator Paul Kagame operates/functions, is by living within a small clique of like minded parasites and feeding on patronage. Thus, criminality becomes their ideology and religion, the rest of Banyarwanda are just mere collateral damage that can be disposed anytime, and anywhere.
If that hasn't got you laughing then nothing will. A " Mafioso monarchy " !
During the Rwanda Patriotic Front war, while others were leading a heroic life at the front line, Dictator Paul Kagame was busy fornicating, embezzling funds, eating sausages and drinking yogurt (Ikivuguto). This always took place at Kisoro(south Western Uganda) in the home of General Kare Kayihura, the Uganda Police Supremo. Now the dictator has been fronted and credited by western gullible press as a courageous warrior that saved Tutsi people. As if courageous soldiers are found hiding in banana plantations by junior soldiers, shiting and pissing on themselves, while the rest are dodging bullets and firing back!
" Dictator Paul Kagame was busy fornicating, embezzling funds, eating sausages and drinking yogurt " . Is this code ?

Our highly placed sources within Dictator Paul kagame’s inner circle, has informed us that Dictator Paul Kagame is definitely living ( leaving )  the presidency after 2016. But, he will take on two new roles; the First Man/Husband and supremo of Rwanda Defence Forces. The source then requested us to use our brains and work-out what that might mean??
Kagame has publicly taken a position of " Wait and see " which has made me revise my tandemocracy theory and think he will opt for constitutional change and remove term limits. That said ( I can't find the quote but Clinton said it ) Bill Clinton has hinted that he expects Kagame to stand down. Should Virunga Mountain blog be correct then there is of course a huge irony on the cards for the not to distant future.

When a so called first lady starts attending highly sensitive security meetings, appointing ministers, representing ministers before foreign dignitaries, and also making public statements arrogantly-that she’s beyond a first lady- then you start questioning her role on the Rwanda political landscape??
I dislike the Kagame regime as readers will be well aware of and I have seen various allegations made against Jeannett Kagame. I have yet to see any of them backed up by anything a court in New Zealand would accept as evidence.
However, we didn’t have to scratch our heads- as the writing was already on the wall, because she was already heading a security agency disguised as a charity-IMBUTO for helping orphans with HIV/AIDS. Basically, the charity is a criminal outfit that is used for intelligence gathering and money laundering. Though the charity on paper has an open recruitment policy, but the shortlisted candidates are normally of Burundi,Uganda,Rwanda,Tanzania,Congo Tutsi background, and always beautiful girls. So next-time when donating money to a presumed good cause, just know that you’re funding a security organisation called IMBUTO Foundation.
There is nothing I can find that backs up any of the above. If the writing is on the wall then perhaps a map could be provided giving directions to said wall, which of course brings us back to the piss take theory.
Those female workers of IMBUTO foundation, are then given specific missions around Kigali,Bujumbura,Kampala,Kinshasa,Nairobi,Arusha,Dodoma,Dar essalam,Lusaka,Maputo, etc. mainly to go after expatriates and foreign military attaches by trapping them with their beauty. That is why former and most recent female workers within IMBUTO foundation are either married, dating foreign embassy workers or foreign NGO directors.
Sounds like a cunning plan that even Baldrick would have been proud of.
" While his "cunning plans" do sometimes have a strange, twisted and often perverse logic and cunning to them (one suggestion was that Blackadder repay his debts by making money as a male prostitute at the docks, another is to disguise a "mad, wild, killer bull" as a rooster and enter it in a cockfight), he does possess an entertaining level of stupidity. "
The one thing we want to inform our readers is that, the process of imposing Jeannett Nyiramongi Kagame on Banyarwanda as their next president has been in the works for over two years. That’s why her big head is always peddled by the mafia’s propagandists, Rwanda times and Chimpanzee reports(Uganda run)-soon they’ll be serializing a doctored biography of Jeannett Nyiramongi.Just like you and us, we doubt if they’ll ever inform the public how she runs Child sacrifice rings around the great lakes-she’s a hardcore worshiper of occultism.
This is brutal stuff regardless of what position you take on the Virunga Mountain blog. There is absolutely no evidence to back up the claims which are undoubtedly false, thus I am back at satire with an African twist, but...
The good thing with Banyarwanda, they’ll always talk- and spill all the secrets. What is amusing is that, Dictator Paul Kagame’s witch doctor once asked him to kill Jeannett Nyiramongi as she was a mere squatter in their home and was at no good. But as always, Witch doctors are there to make money and it so happened that it was Jeannett Nyiramongi that had introduced him to the family. Its believed that at one time, the Witch doctor requested her to bring the impossible, three heads of Blondie girls. We’re not sure what really happened and how it ended. But what we know, they’ve been trotting Nigeria and Mali looking for Witch doctors.
Again bullshit but for what purpose ?
As we informed you earlier of how Jeannett Nyiramogi loves attention and publicity-that’s why her big head is always everywhere seeking the attention of the nearest camera. However, the photographers have never made her feel loved as all shots are strictly edited by Criminal Paul Kagame’s cleaners, aka editors.
A bit hard to take this claim seriously when the Virunga Mountain blog has 9 images of Jeannett Kagame all of which have been digitally altered for this post and none of them are decent.

But as the saying goes in Paparazzo world, always look after the bitch before pimps take advantage of her.
Presumably by making her president of Rwanda.
The readers of this blog unanimously voted to see a naked Jeannett Nyiramogi Kagame. However, the poll never asked what to see exactly and for that reason, a new poll has been published.
Don't go there.
In our next issue, we shall expose the Rwanda and Uganda Child sacrifice ring that Rwanda’s Next President Jeannett Nyiramongi Kagame has run over 10 years.
Virunga Mountain blog has published several posts since this and none deal Jeannett Kagame's occult practices. It is however a hilarious blog and if one was to be fair there is no doubt that the current regime in Rwanda lies outrageously. Virunga Mountain blog perhaps a fitting response to the lies of the Rwandan regime.

Uganda Cricket Cranes: " There was a tiny flaw in the plan. It was bollocks."

Radio New Zealand reports

Uganda cricketers vanish in NZ

Updated at 8:07 am on 6 February 2014

Faruk Ochimi

                                                                      Raymond Otim

Two Ugandan national cricket team players have vanished in New Zealand and are reportedly seeking asylum.
It is very hard to vanish in New Zealand unless you decide to go bush and Otim and Ochimi do not have the skills to do that, so they are probably in hiding. If so it would be a reasonable to assume that they have help.
According to a friend, they plan to travel to later Australia and join two other players who disappeared from a Ugandan cricket team which had gone to play in Australia in 2007.
Yes I think I would have to rate that plan as about as cunning as any of the cunning plans Baldrick managed to come up with in the Blackadder TV series.

AAP reports Raymond Otim and Faruk Ochimi, two of Uganda's "Cricket Cranes", disappeared after an ICC World Cup qualifying tournament concluded in late January.
It is interesting to note that this story only broke in New Zealand today while Red Pepper
( Uganda ) published the story 5 days ago. That equals a huge fail on my part, I should have noticed.

"They had planned long before going to New Zealand that they would not return to Uganda, but instead they will disappear from the rest of the team and later travel to Australia and join Ugandans playing cricket there," said James Otim, a friend of the pair.
It is a shame that they didn't do a bit of geographic research if that was their plan. Contrary to my frequent assertions that you can walk across to Australia from New Zealand at low tide, you can't, it is about 2000 km across the Tasman.

The Uganda Cricket Association website cites the Sunday Monitor newspaper as reporting the pair sought asylum in Whakatane, which hosted the team for two tournament warm-up matches.
Look nothing against Whakatane, it is a beautiful coastal town but I just don't have a clue how they could have managed to seek asylum there. The only authorities I imagine they could have handed themselves into would be the NZ Police which would mean as of today when their visas expire they would be in custody, except that I can't see the constabulary being spectacularly interested in taking a couple of young guys who have not really done anything wrong in the sense of breaking serious NZ laws into custody. If they had robbed, committed acts of violence etc.  then they would be in custody and deep shit but as it stands I can visualise a Senior Sargent in the Whakatane station thinking WTF ? And rather hoping the whole problem would just disappear. If they are still in Whakatane they might try disappearing into the local African community at a guess, including them, it would number about two...

Uganda finished bottom in the tournament, losing all six matches heavily.
I was a little disappointed with that result particularly given I had thrown my support behind the Cranes.

Some media in Uganda blamed the poor performance on the lack of commitment by the two players and teammate Richard Okia, who disappeared in Dubai as the team returned home, while they planned their disappearance from the rest of the team.
In 2009, seven of the Under-19 Uganda side at the World Cup qualifiers disappeared in Canada where they had gone to play.
If anyone in the NZ Great Lakes African community knows where these clowns are ( assuming Immigration NZ hasn't caught up with them ) then advise them to turn themselves in to Immigration NZ, I would be more than willing to put them in touch with African Community leaders in Auckland who will assist in sorting this out. email: htuati@gmail.com

DR Congo: M23. It is over.

The BBC reports

DR Congo M23 rebels 'all but finished', says UN

Government forces celebrate the capture of Rumangabo

Martin Kobler said the M23 had abandoned most military positions in the east and was confined to a small triangle close to the Rwandan border.
A fifth rebel-held area in a week fell to government forces on Monday.
On a personal note this was a huge relief, yesterday I saw Charly Kasereka's Facebook post of an article by Radio Okapi ( I have no idea if he authored it or not as it isn't bylined )  having read the translated article I concluded M23 were finished and went looking for something to support my conclusion, there was nothing other than re-reporting of the Radio Okapi report and other Congo watchers were either asleep or biding their time. What the hell to do ?
I blogged it and predicted the military end of M23 had arrived. I have been suggesting that this was inevitable on this blog for some time but making the call was one of the most difficult blogging decisions I have had to make. Later in the evening and again on Facebook Chantal Faida Mulenga-byuma another Gomatrician  like Charly made a status update.
" DRC, the war is over. The victory returns to the Congolese population that has endured all these sufferings. Long was the night, the day eventually get up. PEACE "
The translation by Bing leaves a lot to be desired but Chantal's meaning is obvious. My confidence in my prediction grew accordingly.
The rebels say that their withdrawals are temporary.
" So the important thing in a military operation is victory, not persistence."
Sun Tzu

Sun Tzu wrote that some 2500 years ago and I would suggest it is as relevant today as it was when he wrote. It is something I hope the Rwandan military think about as well.
Mr Kobler told the UN Security Council by video-link: "It is practically the military end of the M23."
He said the rebels had abandoned a key position on Mount Hehu near the Rwandan border.
About a week back I branded M23 " The Comedians of the Congo " it was largely brought about by the unceasing upbeat press releases that were appearing on what I have been reliably informed is a M23 website, Congo DRC News . In the British WW I comedy Blackadder goes forth they joke about the mindless optimism card, it is almost as though M23 were following that script. Today the website is morbid which is appropriate and the companion Facebook page is if anything worse. It is at this level.
" Axelle was forced to have sex with a dog which she did -"
After the UN meeting, French ambassador Gerard Araud said he hoped there would now be talks between the rebels and the government.
He said: "Mr Kobler has briefed us and basically he told us that we are witnessing the military end of the M23.
"So I think it's a positive development of course and there was a general agreement that now we should go back to the table of negotiation in Kampala."
Actually no. There is nothing to negotiate other than the formal surrender. The Government of DR Congo must above all keep faith with their citizens in the eastern DR Congo, they have borne the brunt of the depredations inflicted by M23. They have a right to justice, it would however be better if that justice was delivered by the international community at the Hague.
Peace talks between the government and M23, hosted by neighbouring Uganda, broke down last week.
There had previously been about two months of relative calm in eastern DR Congo.
There are many other armed groups and it would be better that the M23 situation is dealt with fast, hence my preference for the ICC. FARDC and the Intervention Brigade and for that matter the government need to focus on the future and making that future a prosperous one with economic development and security, the other armed groups be they FDLR, ADF or Mai Mai need neutralising.
'Retreating rebels'
Cheering crowds reportedly welcomed government troops on Monday as they entered Rumangabo town, where the latest M23 base to fall was located.
The government is re-establishing its rule there, said North Kivu province governor Julien Palukui.
"We have just held two meetings in order to discuss how to uplift the population... and we are announcing the restoration of the civil service within the next 24 hours,'' he added.
Rumangabo - about 50km (30 miles) north of Goma, the main city in eastern DR Congo - had one of the three biggest military bases in DR Congo before it fell to the rebels last year.
There is no doubt that the government forces have achieved huge victories over the rebels, says the BBC's Maud Jullien in the capital, Kinshasa.
The UN has deployed a new intervention brigade to eastern DR Congo with a stronger mandate to confront armed groups.
On Sunday, the UN mission in DR Congo, Monusco, said a Tanzanian peacekeeper was killed during fighting with the M23 in the town of Kiwanja.
"The soldier died while protecting the people of Kiwanja," Monusco said in a statement.
That man died for us, he died bring the justice of the world to the people of the DR Congo, we owe him and his colleagues who have died a debt we can never repay, if the world gets this right then we will at least go a small way to honour his sacrifice.
The military success in Rumangabo followed the capture of four other areas - Kiwanja, Rutshuru, Buhumba and Kibumba - since the weekend, the army said.
M23 officials in Uganda said their fighters had retreated because government and UN forces had launched a joint assault, reports the BBC's Ignatius Bahizi from Uganda's capital, Kampala.
Rebel forces were outnumbered, they said.
M23 fighters planned to regroup before making their next move, the officials added.
There will be no next move. It is over.
At least 800,000 people have fled their homes in DR Congo since the M23 launched its rebellion in April 2012, the UN humanitarian agency, Ocha, says.
The rebels briefly occupied eastern DR Congo's main town, Goma, in November 2012 before pulling out under international pressure.
The M23 are mainly ethnic Tutsis, like most of Rwanda's leaders.
Thinking of this in terms of ethnicity is probably the biggest problem, the discrimination Tutsi and those of Tutsi decent face is an issue that needs to be sorted by the DR Congo government.
Rwanda and Uganda deny persistent Congolese and UN allegations that the neighbours are backing the rebel forces.
Eastern DR Congo has been wracked by conflict since 1994, when Hutu militias fled across the border from Rwanda after carrying out a genocide against Tutsis and moderate Hutus.
It is time to stop the killing.

DR Congo: Two crossed dead Frenchmen, emblazoned on a mound of dead Frenchmen

Chimp Reports ( Uganda ) reports

France Moves To Preserve Influence, Fuels Insecurity In Great Lakes
By Diana S. Katabarwa

                                                                                                  Herve Ladsous
When the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 2098 on 28th March 2013, for an offensive force to neutralize and disarm Congolese as well as foreign rebel groups in East DRC, this presented France with an opportunity to take decisive measures to safeguard its political and economic interests as well as cultural influence in the Great Lakes region.

I think Diana S. Katabarwa might be insane. The French contribution to this " offensive force " that is the Intervention ( Africa ) Brigade is of course so extensive that they have no troops involved, no military advisors involved, in fact nothing at all, other than a seat on the UN Security Council that authorised the Intervention Brigade. The question then becomes how did those devious French cheese eaters manage to manipulate the UN security council into such an action ?

The French were subtle so incredibly subtle the world missed their diplomatic play totally, no where will you find it reported that the French somehow manipulated International Conference for the Great Lakes Region into demanding that an intervention force be deployed in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

" The ICGLR summit asked the rebels to withdraw from “current positions to the ground of tactical importance not less than 20km from Goma town within 2 days (from Saturday).”

The Kampala summit also resolved that a composite force comprising one company of a proposed neutral force, one company of Congolese army (FARDC) and one company of M23 be deployed at Goma airport, and also asked the UN Stabilisation Mission in Congo (Monusco) to “occupy and provide security in the neutral zone between Goma and the new areas occupied by M23”."

How did the French know at this early point before even the ICGLR asked for the Intervention Brigade to come under the auspices of the UN and be integrated into the MONUSCO command structure that here was their opportunity to recolonise Africa ? Even better those subtle French, managed to get Uganda and Rwanda to propose what was eventually to become the Brigade .

French policy in the Great Lakes has always been ‘the end justifies the means’ which explains why in 1994 France continued to support the Rwandan army even as the genocide unfolded and bodies were piling on streets, in churches and stadiums.

France was not oblivious to what was going on at that time but regarded its support for the genocidal regime as a necessity to stop the advance of the English speaking Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) ‘’invaders’’ from overrunning what France considered as its territory and posing a threat to French influence, language and culture.

OK  Time for a quick history lesson. Germany colonised Rwanda in 1884 followed by Belgium in 1916 and Rwanda achieved independence in 1962. Now I might be a bit dim but I had no idea that both Germany and Belgium were actually part of France during the colonial period. I also was unaware that post 1962 the Rwandan state seeded authority to France. Or let me put it another way, Katabarwa is talking shit.

The French and Anglo Saxon rivalry for influence in post-colonial Africa coupled with France’s delusions of grandeur drove France to prop up a regime that massacred one million people in Rwanda in 1994.

Quite a few. The whole bloody world was guilty of looking the other way during the Rwandan Genocide. There is no excuse for it but lets not make it Frances exclusive responsibility. Abdicating our responsibility means it can happen again, and we only need to look across the Rwandan border to see the evidence of that.

This rivalry for influence recently came to a head again in North Kivu Province of East DRC where France in the guise of MONUSCO took decisive measures to protect its interests.

What rivalry ? The Anglos Saxons to use an antiquated term are not really interested.

After M23’s withdrawal from Goma in December 2012, despite the presence of MONUSCO on ground, Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), Mayi Mayi Shetani militias and Janvier Karairi’s militias moved into positions in and around Goma, Mudja, Rusayo, Kanyati, Ishasha, Nyamilima, Kisharu and Vishumbi to reinforce the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC).

This development did not go unnoticed by the locals but for some reason received no mention whatsoever from the international media, human rights groups or NGOs on ground.

Actually I suspect it did go unnoticed by the locals I sure as hell didn't see any evidence of that.

In April 2013 the UN Intervention Brigade arrived in North Kivu accompanied by 30 French military experts. Shortly after, rockets were fired from the FARDC/FDLR controlled area into Rwandan territory.

I have been unable to confirm a French presence. It would seem rather unlikely however I would be less surprised if they were observers.

FDLR had experienced a new surge in confidence similar to that of 1994 when they cheered as the first French troops arrived in Zone Turquoise which was presumably established to stop the genocide but instead ended up providing safe passage into Zaire for Interahamwe and ex-FAR (former Rwandan army) as they fled from the RPF advance.

If I was part of the FDLR I would be feeling anything but confident. They must know it will be there turn next and unlike M23 they have no where to run.

On 30 July MONUSCO gave “negative elements’’ (read M23) 48 hours to disarm. Following the ultimatum, out of over 25 armed groups in East DRC, M23 was singled out and attacked by the joint forces of the UN Intervention Brigade, FARDC and FDLR.

So M23 were unaware that despite bombing Goma and Rwandan territory they were going to be attacked. That is worth a Darwin award.

Belgian Foreign Minister Reynders visited Joseph Kabila on 22nd August 2013 and advised the DRC government not to integrate the M23 into the national army

Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) that had only a few weeks earlier sent over 60,000 Congolese fleeing into Uganda was of no immediate concern to the UN Brigade. Neither was FDLR that has terrorized Eastern DRC for the last 18 years.

" Immediate " is the operative word. Rwandan troops massing on the border. M23 firing into Rwandan territory in an attempt to start a full scale war. I wasn't in the least surprised.

The 48 hour ultimatum and attack on M23 was the method employed by the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations to thwart UN Secretary General Ban ki-Moon, Special Envoy to the Great Lakes Mary Robinson and US Secretary of State John Kerry’s preference for a political resolution to the conflict which if attained would give the Anglo Saxons an upper hand in East DRC. France regards the DRC as its territory.

Really. This is getting a bit hysterical. I am assuming the author wants an Anglo Saxon influence.

The Department of Peacekeeping Operations is headed by Herve Ladsous who was deputy head of the French UN Mission in 1994. He defended the Habyarimana regime prior to the genocide and after the genocide he was instrumental in organizing for the establishment of Zone Turquoise which provided an escape route for the mass murderers.

Eighteen years later, Harve Ladsous is once again in position to influence decisions at the UN regarding security matters in the Great Lakes region and to take measures to safeguard France’s influence and interests. France has perfected the art of presenting its interests disguised as solutions to local problems, the most recent such ‘’solution’’ being to neutralize the M23.

Yes.... Frances greatest foreign policy goal isn't the Central African Republic where it was the colonial power it is M23's elimination. Delusions of grandeur ?

" KAMPALA (Reuters) - South African soldiers gathered in Uganda on Thursday for a "new mission" to the Central African Republic (CAR), where 13 of their comrades were killed in a rebel coup at the weekend, South African media and a senior Ugandan officer said.
"The intention of the South Africans is to reorganize themselves and then redeploy massively in CAR and topple these rebels. They were humiliated and they want to avenge," the officer told Reuters, asking not to be named."
The South African Army deployed to CAR to prevent a rebel takeover. They did so when it became apparent that France was not interested in any intervention other than the protection of French interests and citizens.

Harve Ladsous, current Chief of UN Peacekeeping operations defended Habyarimana’s government in 1994

The idea of a strong and organized local force emerging with the potential to stem the exploitation of Congolese resources that has been going on for decades is not in the interests of Belgium and France who have been beneficiaries from colonial times to the present day.

Those bloody Belgians.
