Rwanda: " Whatever happened to wicked wiles, permissive styles..."

Virunga Mountain blogs

Paul Kagame's Wife to Become Rwanda Next President

The one thing that is killing politics around the world, is the disease of politicians parachuting their wives, children and relatives to the presidency. The concept of power belonging to the people, has now been turned into Power belongs to the family. The blatant disregard of the voice of the people and power hungry criminals imposing themselves on them, has never improved society, but impoverished it further. Yes, it’s understandable when a political system is based on constitutional monarchism, then the people can fully bless that transition of power as being part and parcel of their heritage.

The Virunga Mountain blog is hilarious and I am frequently caught up with the question is this guy for real or is this just a huge piss take. Jeannett Kagame would seem to me to be an unlikely solution to the very real problem Kagame has created for himself by imposing a two term rule. I expected Kagame to use an African adaption of the Putin / Medvedev model.

" Kagame has become delusional, his inability separate his administration from the the nation state that is Rwanda. He assures all that he will not alter the constitution to extend his tenure as Rwanda's President but the reality is that he has created a situation where he will be forced to remain in office. Expect an African version of the Putin / Medvedev  tandemocracy . There is very little available in the way of attractive retirement options available for autocratic dictators after they lose power. Ask Gaddafi."

However, when a hardcore cold blooded criminal like Paul Kagame, decides to take Banyarwanda for fools by passing the baton of power to his wife, which she already has, then it becomes our birth right to resist that project.
The one thing we can read into this, is the intentional design to turn Rwanda Republic into a Mafioso monarchy-this will shield Criminal Paul Kagame from prosecution for crimes against humanity and state terrorism.
The way dictator Paul Kagame operates/functions, is by living within a small clique of like minded parasites and feeding on patronage. Thus, criminality becomes their ideology and religion, the rest of Banyarwanda are just mere collateral damage that can be disposed anytime, and anywhere.
If that hasn't got you laughing then nothing will. A " Mafioso monarchy " !
During the Rwanda Patriotic Front war, while others were leading a heroic life at the front line, Dictator Paul Kagame was busy fornicating, embezzling funds, eating sausages and drinking yogurt (Ikivuguto). This always took place at Kisoro(south Western Uganda) in the home of General Kare Kayihura, the Uganda Police Supremo. Now the dictator has been fronted and credited by western gullible press as a courageous warrior that saved Tutsi people. As if courageous soldiers are found hiding in banana plantations by junior soldiers, shiting and pissing on themselves, while the rest are dodging bullets and firing back!
" Dictator Paul Kagame was busy fornicating, embezzling funds, eating sausages and drinking yogurt " . Is this code ?

Our highly placed sources within Dictator Paul kagame’s inner circle, has informed us that Dictator Paul Kagame is definitely living ( leaving )  the presidency after 2016. But, he will take on two new roles; the First Man/Husband and supremo of Rwanda Defence Forces. The source then requested us to use our brains and work-out what that might mean??
Kagame has publicly taken a position of " Wait and see " which has made me revise my tandemocracy theory and think he will opt for constitutional change and remove term limits. That said ( I can't find the quote but Clinton said it ) Bill Clinton has hinted that he expects Kagame to stand down. Should Virunga Mountain blog be correct then there is of course a huge irony on the cards for the not to distant future.

When a so called first lady starts attending highly sensitive security meetings, appointing ministers, representing ministers before foreign dignitaries, and also making public statements arrogantly-that she’s beyond a first lady- then you start questioning her role on the Rwanda political landscape??
I dislike the Kagame regime as readers will be well aware of and I have seen various allegations made against Jeannett Kagame. I have yet to see any of them backed up by anything a court in New Zealand would accept as evidence.
However, we didn’t have to scratch our heads- as the writing was already on the wall, because she was already heading a security agency disguised as a charity-IMBUTO for helping orphans with HIV/AIDS. Basically, the charity is a criminal outfit that is used for intelligence gathering and money laundering. Though the charity on paper has an open recruitment policy, but the shortlisted candidates are normally of Burundi,Uganda,Rwanda,Tanzania,Congo Tutsi background, and always beautiful girls. So next-time when donating money to a presumed good cause, just know that you’re funding a security organisation called IMBUTO Foundation.
There is nothing I can find that backs up any of the above. If the writing is on the wall then perhaps a map could be provided giving directions to said wall, which of course brings us back to the piss take theory.
Those female workers of IMBUTO foundation, are then given specific missions around Kigali,Bujumbura,Kampala,Kinshasa,Nairobi,Arusha,Dodoma,Dar essalam,Lusaka,Maputo, etc. mainly to go after expatriates and foreign military attaches by trapping them with their beauty. That is why former and most recent female workers within IMBUTO foundation are either married, dating foreign embassy workers or foreign NGO directors.
Sounds like a cunning plan that even Baldrick would have been proud of.
" While his "cunning plans" do sometimes have a strange, twisted and often perverse logic and cunning to them (one suggestion was that Blackadder repay his debts by making money as a male prostitute at the docks, another is to disguise a "mad, wild, killer bull" as a rooster and enter it in a cockfight), he does possess an entertaining level of stupidity. "
The one thing we want to inform our readers is that, the process of imposing Jeannett Nyiramongi Kagame on Banyarwanda as their next president has been in the works for over two years. That’s why her big head is always peddled by the mafia’s propagandists, Rwanda times and Chimpanzee reports(Uganda run)-soon they’ll be serializing a doctored biography of Jeannett Nyiramongi.Just like you and us, we doubt if they’ll ever inform the public how she runs Child sacrifice rings around the great lakes-she’s a hardcore worshiper of occultism.
This is brutal stuff regardless of what position you take on the Virunga Mountain blog. There is absolutely no evidence to back up the claims which are undoubtedly false, thus I am back at satire with an African twist, but...
The good thing with Banyarwanda, they’ll always talk- and spill all the secrets. What is amusing is that, Dictator Paul Kagame’s witch doctor once asked him to kill Jeannett Nyiramongi as she was a mere squatter in their home and was at no good. But as always, Witch doctors are there to make money and it so happened that it was Jeannett Nyiramongi that had introduced him to the family. Its believed that at one time, the Witch doctor requested her to bring the impossible, three heads of Blondie girls. We’re not sure what really happened and how it ended. But what we know, they’ve been trotting Nigeria and Mali looking for Witch doctors.
Again bullshit but for what purpose ?
As we informed you earlier of how Jeannett Nyiramogi loves attention and publicity-that’s why her big head is always everywhere seeking the attention of the nearest camera. However, the photographers have never made her feel loved as all shots are strictly edited by Criminal Paul Kagame’s cleaners, aka editors.
A bit hard to take this claim seriously when the Virunga Mountain blog has 9 images of Jeannett Kagame all of which have been digitally altered for this post and none of them are decent.

But as the saying goes in Paparazzo world, always look after the bitch before pimps take advantage of her.
Presumably by making her president of Rwanda.
The readers of this blog unanimously voted to see a naked Jeannett Nyiramogi Kagame. However, the poll never asked what to see exactly and for that reason, a new poll has been published.
Don't go there.
In our next issue, we shall expose the Rwanda and Uganda Child sacrifice ring that Rwanda’s Next President Jeannett Nyiramongi Kagame has run over 10 years.
Virunga Mountain blog has published several posts since this and none deal Jeannett Kagame's occult practices. It is however a hilarious blog and if one was to be fair there is no doubt that the current regime in Rwanda lies outrageously. Virunga Mountain blog perhaps a fitting response to the lies of the Rwandan regime.

Africa: Around the African blogs

I will attempt to update on the African Blogs that have caught my attention on a weekly basis. I am of course bound to miss a huge number so feel free to suggest any you think might be worth future inclusion.

Rosebell Kagumire blogs  on clean water in Uganda and the UN Millennium goals.

" The failure of such handouts to deliver sanitation solutions has highlighted at this unclogging blockages conference in Kampala. One participant told us how NGOs had built latrines for people in Kampala slums but majority were using these latrines to keep their animals."

Alex Engwete Blogs on DR Congo politics an the maneuvering in Kinshasa.

So forget the antics of drama-queen Kamerhe! The most interesting thing to watch these days is the deadly no-holds-barred power struggle being played out within Kabila's Majorité Présidentielle (MP).

On Thursday, January 30, 2014 this bloody fratricidal power struggle that was being waged behind closed doors broke out in the open at the Grand Hotel in Kinshasa. But prior to that date, there was the ever widening rift between Prime Minister Matata Ponyo--hated within the MP for allegedly effectively plugging money leaks--and Deputy PM and Budget Minister Daniel Mukoko Samba.

Rising Continent - Lions on the move - blogs on whether simplistic interpretations of African events are racist.

“Why is the media coverage, for example, of conflicts in Nigeria and the Central African Republic important to countries in the West that do not appear to be involved in them? Anup Shah, author and owner of the Global Issues website, offers some answers to that question. Shah points out that simplistic views, at worst, are racist, whether intentional or not, and at best, offer no platform on how to move forward.”

Lesley on Africa blogs On the Ugandan Military deployment in South Sudan

Within days of the outbreak of the violence in mid-December, the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) deployed to South Sudan at the government’s invitation. The UPDF’s mission at the outset was ostensibly to evacuate the over 200,000 stranded Ugandan nationals and to secure strategic installations in Juba. However, several weeks into the operation, President Yoweri Museveni disclosed that the UPDF was also involved in combat operations alongside government forces.

Virunga Mountains Blog Is unique in the Great Lakes Blogosphere.

" The democratic Republic of Congo is very diverse and its not easy to tell or describe how Congolese look like-though, a stereo-type has been imposed on them by ignorant people. It can be very hard for some of us that have been living in diaspora for long to keep up with the culture. But we do try when we can."

Ann Garrison blogs  Also blogs on the Ugandan military in South Sudan.

" The Sudan Peoples' Liberation Army in Opposition has said that they expect no progress in peace talks regarding the civil war in South Sudan unless Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni withdraws his army from South Sudan, which is there to back up President Kiir's faction of the army, not only with troops but also with artillery and helicopter gunships."

The Clowns of the Congo Congo DRC News ( M23 ) don't blog
This Account Has Been Suspended  ( Not unusual and no great loss )

The Timbuktu Chronicles blog On Business, highly recommended.

" ...To start out his small operation, Mupuya figured out he needed a capital of 36,000 Ugandan shillings ($14). He raised the first $11 from selling 70 kilos of used plastic bottles he'd collected over one week. Mupuya then borrowed the remaining $3 from his school teacher and embarked on his entrepreneurial journey producing paper bags on a small scale. Since then, the business has grown extensively and today, at the age of 21, Mupuya is the owner of Youth Entrepreneurial Link Investments (YELI), the first registered Ugandan company to make paper bags."

WomanStyles blogs on Bim Fernandez who I have never heard of.

“I play a mean guitar and I’d really like to be like Courtney Love.”
One thing she shares with the rock-star widow of Kurt Cobain is wealth.
Her first single, Let’s Take it Naked, came out only last week but her riches are already up there with the superstars.
Home is a fabulous Manhattan apartment with a Picasso above her bed and a valuable first edition of Alice in Wonderland on the coffee table."

Visit Virunga is not a blog, but the fantastic Gorilla DC blog is undergoing maintenance, that said the great new is that the Park is again open for business. I will update with the blog details but go visit the new site.

Rwanda Demands Action On FDLR

                                                         Picture Virunga Mountain Blog

I will start by saying that the photo shopped picture comes from The Virunga Mountain Blog which I stumbled over today and we seem to have similar opinions on the Rwandan Foreign Minister Louise Mushikiwabo. I think Imbwakazi translates as bitch and I gather Intobo y'intore is a combination of an inedible fruit combined with a cultural dance, again a guess but I suspect it means a poisonous culture.

The Rwandan government has demanded answers from the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Monusco) on their inaction against the FDLR rebels holed up in that country.
The Rwandan Government can't demand answers from anyone and MONUSCO Martin Kobler I hope told Mushikiwabo to piss off. Rwanda have a temporary seat on the UN security council, perhaps Mushikiwabo doesn't know what that means  I will help her out. Rwanda has the responsibility to represent the interests of the African continent when it comes to issues of international security. Rwanda has no part in the decision making, command or priority setting of the MONUSCO mission in the DR Congo.
The United Nations body had vowed to deal with the group, which is largely composed of perpetrators of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in which more than one million people were murdered.
After helping the Congolese army fight the M23 rebels, Monusco head Martin Kobler was categorical that the next armed group to be dealt with would be the FDLR; yet several months later, nothing much has been done about the rebel group despite Monusco being backed by South African, Malawian and Tanzanian soldiers plus drones.
Actually I have not seen anything to back up the statement that Kobler said the FDLR would be the next armed group that would be dealt with and I have been looking because I predicted that they would be the next cab off the rank after M23. From the MONUSCO mandate:

"...authorized to use all necessary means to carry out its mandate relating, among other things, to the protection of civilians, humanitarian personnel and human rights defenders under imminent threat of physical violence and to support the Government of the DRC in its stabilization and peace consolidation efforts."

Now from that we can assume that the Ugandan Rebel group the ADF was considered a greater threat than the FDLR at this point, also MONUSCO is to support the DR Congo Government, nothing about the Rwandan Dictatorship at all.

"We had a meeting with the head of Monusco and we showed our displeasure that what was said was not done," Foreign Affairs Minister and government spokesperson Louise Mushikiwabo told local media. "We shall not allow the problem of FDLR to continue without being handled. For the last few weeks, we have been waiting for something to be done but nothing has so far been done."
Unfortunately that is a threat that must be taken seriously. Rwanda have launched several aggressive military interventions in the DR Congo, as well as sponsoring several rebellions. There is growing evidence that Rwanda is attempting to reconstitute their surrogate M23.

She also scoffed at suggestions by Monusco that they had transferred the FDLR from roads to other places. "Their mandate is not to transfer them to other places but to remove them completely. All armed groups should be removed from the DRC."
Again I can't track this claim and am guessing it is yet another lie of Louise Mushikiwabo, MONUSCO did transfer some tourists kidnapped by the FDLR. New Times Rwanda reports:

Shortly after, a team of peacekeepers, based on the information received, caught red-handed the FDLR elements, who, without putting up any resistance, released the two hostages and their vehicle.
But the two tourists lost all their personal belongings, including $4,000 (Rwf2.5m), credit cards, laptops and a compass (GPS) during their ordeal.
Both tourists were transferred to the Monusco base in Beni, DR Congo.

Another Rwandan propaganda outfit Rwanda Focus that is having website issues did make this observation.

" And in response to Monusco's boast that they had managed to drive the FDLR away from some strategic locations such as roads they were "

I am guessing Mushikiwabo has confused the two incidents.

Mushikiwabo said that it will be difficult to establish peace in the region when Monusco does not fulfill its mandate.
MONUSCO is fulfilling its mandate, time spent in preparation is seldom time wasted, that is why professional armed forces train. Rwanda seems to think it can set the timetable and agenda, it can't.
Rwanda expects the FDLR to be eliminated in much the same way as the M23. President Paul Kagame said as much to Russell Feingold, the US Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, when the latter visited him on December 4.
Oh Dear that is a fuck up. M23 were not eliminated you can find them in Kigali.
The two leaders "agreed that a sustainable solution [to peace and stability in the region] must include the neutralisation of the FDLR as a matter of priority," a statement from the President's office said.
If that were not difficult enough, there is the matter of the group's long-running collaboration with the Congolese national army, which, essentially, is supposed to lead the attacks against it. According to a report by the UN Group of Experts on the DR Congo, the FARDC formed alliances with FDLR when M23 rebels overran Goma in 2011.
There seems to be evidence some elements of FARDC have in the past co-operated with the FDLR. No where near as much evidence as there is that Rwanda actually ran M23 with their orders being generated in Kigali.
"In January 2012, two former FDLR soldiers witnessed separately meetings between FARDC and FDLR in the Tongo area, during which they exchanged operational information," the report reads.
"Between January and April 2013, a former FDLR soldier witnessed four distinct ammunition transfers by the FARDC based at Bambo to FDLR, while in February, another former FDLR soldier saw FARDC hand over ammunition to the FDLR, also at Bambo," it adds.
Be nice to have a source.
Although the rebel group has withered in numerical strength over the years, with estimates putting it at between 1,500 and 1,800 combatants, the FDLR has maintained a coherent political and military structure compared with M23, which appeared disjointed throughout its 20-month lifespan.
Security experts in Rwanda say it is through this network that the two-decade-old group still propagates the hate ideology that fuelled the 1994 Genocide. They add that such hatred poses both a physical and ideological threat not only to the country but the region, given how widespread out the group's targets are.
I despise the FDLR. Even more than I despise Louise Mushikiwabo.
