DR Congo: Charley Kasereka and the Goma Drone.

MONUSCO reports

UN peacekeeping chief in Eastern DR Congo to inaugurate new protection technology, sees progress

Actually I can't be bothered giving you the boring story from the MONUSCO website so I used the the summation on the MONUSCO Facebook page.

MONUSCO has launched an inaugural flight of its unmanned aircraft today in Goma, North Kivu. The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Hervé Ladsous, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations responsible for the operations of peacekeeping ( and Charly Kasereka blogger Goma ) . Mr. Considers Ladsous said the unmanned aircraft are high-tech systems that allow for a better understanding of what is happening on the ground. This will force MONUSCO to do its job better and also to monitor potential movement of civilians. I think it is a very complete service mission and tasks his tool.

Charly Kasereka and the UN Drone. ( I am guessing Charly didn't take this photo )

Also I couldn't be bothered showing you pictures of UN stuffed shirts with the Drone when I happened upon a picture of Goma blogger and journalist Charly Kasereka with it.
